Examples of Past Projects
SR429 from Seidel Rd to SR414
Orange County | Central Florida Expressway Authority
ETP has completed five PD&E / Design projects spanning 20+ miles of SR429. The projects involved analyzing multi-lane expansions (through lanes, auxiliary lanes, part-time shoulder use) and 10+ interchanges resulting in 13 noise barrier systems, totaling over 8.5 miles, being advanced to design and/or construction. ETP is proud to have also served the CFX PIO in conducting the noise barrier opinion survey process.
SR9B at I-95
Duval County | Florida DOT
ETP conducted the PD&E and Final Design noise analysis and documentation for this new interchange in Jacksonville, Florida. The new interchange resulted in the construction of 2.5 miles of noise barrier wall.
First Coast Expressway
Clay, Duval, St. Johns Counties | Florida DOT
ETP was responsible for conducting numerous PD&E analyses and producing robust project documentation for the 15+ mile new alignment Branan Field Chaffee Road Supplemental EIS and 32+ mile new alignment St. Johns River Crossing EIS. ETP is proud to have also conducted the final design evaluations and assisted the FDOT owner’s rep throughout the Design-Build process. Several noise barriers have been constructed, or are in the design phase.
US41 at Bonita Beach Rd
Lee County | Florida DOT
ETP conducted the PD&E analysis for this intersection improvement project Lee County which included Displaced Left Turn (DLT) lanes and new alignment. One nonresidential Special Land Use noise barrier was advanced to the design phase.
Sawgrass Expressway and Florida’s Turnpike
Broward County | Florida Turnpike Enterprise
This PD&E Study involved evaluating the widening of the Sawgrass Expressway and Florida’s Turnpike and the potential impacts to over 3,900 residential and nonresidential sites. The study included the FDOTs 10th St. project as well as numerous existing and proposed noise barrier systems culminating in nine noise barrier systems being advanced to the design phase.
I-75 from SR44 to SR326
Marion and Sumter Counties | Florida DOT
ETP has completed two Moving Florida Forward PD&E Studies for the widening of Interstate 75 in Marion and Sumter Counties. The corridor spanned nearly 31 miles and included the evaluation of potential impacts on more than 830 residential and nonresidential sites. Nineteen noise barrier analyses were accomplished, with five barrier systems being advanced to the design phase. ETP is proud to have also assisted the FDOT with the final design analysis on one segment which includes conducting barrier opinion surveys and finding solutions to remedy potential noise barrier / billboard conflict.
SR173 from US98 to SR297
Escambia County | Florida DOT
ETP evaluated this 7+ mile long PD&E corridor for potential noise impacts. The project entailed a two-to-four lane widening of the arterial roadway SR173. Over 350 noise sensitive sites were analyzed resulting in the analysis of eleven noise barrier systems, nine of which were advanced to the design phase.
Private Commercial Development
ETP is poised to assist our private sector clients in identifying solutions to ensure their projects adhere to their client’s requirements as well as local ordinances.
Private Residential Development
ETP helps our private sector clients navigate the complexities of identifying noise compatible planning concepts when proposed development will occur adjacent to heavily trafficked roadways.
